Positivity is our greatest gift. Throw it away, and there's infinite pools of sadness. Catch it and bottle it up, and there's no limit to where it can take you

A twist on the “extinguisher,” this guerrilla-style installation quietly appears in unexpected corners of campus—library shelves, studio sinks, toilet cubicle doors—offering emotional support where it’s least expected.

Each disguised fire extinguisher holds pocket tissues with hand-burned black cards. Tilted toward the light, each card reveals an anonymous message of survival—reminding students: someone made it through, and so can you.

Rooted in ritual, Gen Z digital culture, and cross-cultural care, the project reimagines design not as a solution, but as a witness to unspoken feelings.

In case of fire—on your head or in your heart—stay.
The heat will pass. What stays is worth staying for.

About EX-ANGUISHER

You’ve found a message. Now you’re here!

Not here to fix, just to stay.
Each message is a trace left by someone who’s been there—written in their own words, their own language.

You’re welcome to read, or leave one for someone else.
